Before you commit to a contract, you might want to find out the answer to some of your questions. An initial consultation is relatively inexpensive and may save you time and heartache. Give me a call at 301-509-5111

I have been around this industry long enough to know that sometimes buyers and sellers aren’t ready to jump right into the market. If you were to believe all the advertising, you would just find a real estate agent and like a miracle everything would fall into place.

It doesn’t work that way. You know it and I know it.

The great majority of consumers do not have any education about real estate. Most of what people know comes from anecdotal second hand sharing. The internet is a wonderful source for data and opinion.

It has been my experience that everyone has a unique situation and very few people fit into some cookie cutter one size fits all mold.

Realtors are paid commission. They earn money when a transaction takes place. Once a sale is FINAL, then they get paid.

I offer an alternative. I am not necessarily seeking to help you buy a home or sell a home. It might not be the right time for that action. You may not be in position to buy or sell, but you would like to know your options.

While commissions in real estate transactions are negotiable, the average has held between 5% and 6% for quite a long time. In most cases, the commission is split between the buyer’s agent and the listing agent. On a sale of $500,000….that is $25,000 to $30,000!  It is a lot of money to spend. It might be prudent to sit down and pay a consultant an hourly rate to review your situation.

I offer a full review of your goals and guidance on where you fit in the current market. If you are planning to purchase, I can offer you an educational program that will assist you in preparing. If you are planning to sell, I can offer you an analysis of the market and a review of your home.
